3. Work with schools
We provide professional support to schools on drug education. This we do by working with the local schools to offer our input and support for school based drug education in culturally appropriate ways to meet the diverse needs of the communities in Ealing. We provide education in primary and secondary prevention and refer young people to appropriate organisations.

We also undertake targeted work with young people for example those who have been disciplined by the school for using or possessing drugs. This is through specially designed sessions for each group addressing their appropriate needs.

4. Work with young people
EDEP officers and volunteers undertake specific pieces of work with young people. This includes developing the Young People’s Council and training peer educators. For more information contact the office.
