John will speak about his personal experience on the link between possession and addiction. He will discuss the ways that people have reported spirit possession and the role of rescue work.

John Devereux is a medium and clairvoyant. As a spiritualist, he has over fifty years experience and together with his wife Linda, delivers workshops, training and seminars all over the UK.

For the last fifteen years, John has undertaken a considerable amount of rescue work with as many as 30 spiritualist centres and churches.

DAAP's volunteer training

DAAP ran its 7th three day volunteer training programme in February 2009. This was aimed at training local indiviudals to support DAAP's education activities and covered all aspects of addiction, working with diverse communities, equality and child protection issues.
